Name: Skypaw
Age: 12 moons
Gender: She-Cat
Position: Apprentice
Clan: DayClan
Pictures: Current and Future. Except the eyes are greener and bluer.
Appearance: Skypaw has long, silky, thick white fur that has small splashes of orange on her head and tail (see younger picture). Her eyes are odd-colored, one being brilliant blue and the other glittering green (Alliteration, whoop whoop! My English teacher would be so proud….) Because of her white fur, the pigment of her skin is light pink, which gives her more tender footpads and prolonged sun will drain her easily.
The apprentice she-cat is still resilient, though. She is developing the strong muscles of a seasoned warrior from her training. Skypaw isn’t huge, but she’s not tiny either. She has long legs and a lithe frame, with a long orange-spotted tail like a fluffy kite string as it waves above her.
Personality: The apprentice is sometimes timid in nature, but always very humble and caring. She never second-guesses her superiors, whether it’s another warrior or Nocturnestar herself. The little she-cat is usually trying to better herself, since from her birth she’s been looked upon more as soft and breakable. ‘Tis the curse of fluffy white fur.
Skypaw is usually the first to offer water and fresh-kill to the elders, and loves playing with the kits in the nursery. The young she-cat is shy and quiet with the toms and other apprentices, who are beginning to notice her elegant beauty as she matures. When complimented, she simply smiles and says, “Thank you,” but you can almost see the pink flesh underneath her fur turn bright red.
History: Silentdark was a beautiful, kind, pure black she-cat, well-liked among the DayCats. She caught the eye of Brinkstep, another ebony-hued cat, immediately and they were mates by the she-cat’s twentieth season. Weeks later, their litter was birthed. Three kittens – three solid black, and one white with orange spots. The awkward hush amidst the clan was nearly tangible.
Brinkstep could almost stay quiet, until the loner appeared. He was orange and white, with long silky fur and two odd eyes, one brilliant blue and the other glittering green. Before he could even speak to Silentdark, Brinkstep attacked and send him running. The young mother was heartbroken and distraught, but held together for her kittens. The three dark pelted kits were Lakekit, Larkkit, and Littlekit, but she named her beautiful fourth one Skykit.
Skykit grew just as easily as her siblings, but she was always upset when Brinkstep treated her harshly. One day, she walked out of the nursery, and after one look Brinkstep hissed, swatted, and fled, growling. Confused, she padded to a puddle and gasped to discover her once kitten-blue eyes had changed. They were now a glowing green and blue, standing out in great contrast to her white fur.
When she was made Skypaw on her fifth moon, she was apprenticed to ________. She trained hard and long, competing mainly against the largest of her litter, Lakepaw, who was apprenticed to his father. She was determined to not remain the unlawful outcast of her family, and the only cat who truly treated her with kindness was Silentdark.
Hey mind still wanders to who her father could be. Her mother offered not a name nor a reason for their forbidden actions, but it was no secret (how could it be) of Skypaw’s mixed heritage.
Other: I’m volunteering her to be the mentor for the DayClan champion, after she’s made a warrior. And, I need a mentor for her from DayClan.
IC: Not needed.
No! Felines and blades don’t mix!
