Clans of the Night
Plot #1
For many moons, the four clans lived peacefully with each other. There were no major confrontations between them and everything seemed perfect. Kits became apprentices and then warriors in what seemed like only a few days. Each moon seemed to pass by without any problems.
Around the approaching full moon, weird things start occurring. Skyclan patrols have found the remains of prey scattered over their land with an odd scent left on them. Earthclan have found odd scent markings around their borders. Moonclan and Fogclan have been undisturbed or so they think. Many cats have awoken to a strange howling noise drifting with the breeze but can't explain it. Some consider it merely a dream while others take it as a sign from Starclan.
Then two days before the gathering, the medicine cats are all sent a dream from their resting ancestors.
The forest cowers from their might,
The moon betrays the night,
The rest must unite,
Or forever take flight
The clan leaders all attempt to figure it out alongside some of their most trusted clan mates but no one is able to decipher the new prophecy.
The full moon quickly rolls around and each clan approach Four Oaks for the gathering. The sky is clear, letting the moon and stars shine brightly down upon each feline. The leaders converse between each other before announcing their clans news. During Moonclan's announcement, a strange scent is carried on the wind. Earthclan and Skyclan both recognized it as the scent left on their lands. The scent is foul and sends shivers down the spine of each feline.
Then out of the bushes emerge large dogs who surround the cats. With no where to run, the cats in the clearing huddle together, frightened. One of the large dogs steps forward and jumps onto the boulder, making the leaders scramble off the rock. The shadowy brute eyes the leaders and opens his maw to speak. "I am the Leader of the Bloodshed Wolf Pack. Join us or you will die." The demand was quick and rather simple. Some of the bravest cats stood and protested against it but soon their cries were ended by fangs. The Bloodshed Pack's alpha commanded they were killed. The other cats, scarred by the brutal murders, seemed frozen. Not a single meow came from them. The leaders stunned by this glanced at each other unsure what to do. Then just as quickly as the wolves had come they took their leave. Once they were gone from sight all the clan cats turned to their leaders. "What will we do!" wailed one. "We're doomed!" yowled another.
The leaders spoke to each other and all decided to tell their clans the happenings of the gathering. Each clan left for their home wearily watching behind them. The announcement of what happened at the gathering caused an uproar. Many cats felt it would be best to join the wolves and other believed that there was no choice but to fight against them. Earthclan, Fogclan, and Skyclan decided to stand up against them. Moonclan, on the other hand, knew there was only a slight chance of surviving a fight against these wolves. So they searched for the pack and soon discovered that the wolves had taken residence on the beaches between their clan and Skyclan. Giving in to their demand, they led the pack to a new place to stay near the far borders of their lands, the Crystal Caverns. The Bloodshed pack were glad that one clan came to their senses and promised that Moonclan was safe from harm's way. Moonclan gave the wolves permission to wander on their lands and have some of their fresh kill as long as there was still enough food for the whole clan. The Bloodshed alpha agreed to the terms and commanded each of his wolves to abide by them or suffer the consequences.
The other three clans were completely unaware of Moonclan betrayal.
What will happen now that the Bloodshed pack has everything they need to keep strong? Will the other clans figure out what Moonclan has been doing? Will cats outside of the clan get involved? Will the other clans be able to defeat these wolves?
